My Thanksgiving Note
Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours. This is one of my favorite days of the year, it’s always been and I don’t see that changing. For all those that speak about how holidays are manufactured reasons for us to spend more money etc, well that’s one way to look at it but I am happy that we still take certain days to recognize things like being thankful. My favorite thing about the last few years is that they’ve lead me to give thanks on a day to day basis. Today is a day like any other, a day that I get a chance to tell others that I love them, a day to appreciate all that I’ve been blessed with, a day to reflect on experiences and concentrate and making new ones. I hope that wherever you are, you are enjoying the people and the moment. Wishing you Happy Holidays from the sun & the sand!
Honest Eyes
I found this picture today that was taken the other night when I was at a real cool T-Mobile event in Los Angeles. 7 years ago before I moved to LA I got to go to a T-Mobile party on the rooftop of The Grove, it was the launch of the Sidekick II. That was interestingly one of the best nights of my life as it changed the course I would eventually take. Funny how a brand can offer an experience which you can in turn become sentimentally attached to. As a matter of fact, had my friend not brought me out to LA that time and had we not gone to that party that night where I met Dave Meyers, I may have never moved here and done all the things I have. When I saw this photo it reminded me of all that and reminded me of an amazing girl I’m getting to know that tells me she wish she had my eyes. Interesting.
Do Whatever It Takes
Virgin Unite Re*Generation presents an awesome new initiative entitled “Do Whatever It Takes” to help end youth homelessness. The facts are pretty incredible & not in a good way, there are over 2,000,000 youths between the US & Canada that experience homelessness each year. Virgin has reached out the help contribute to the cause by encouraging others to create unique pledges. The way this works is that you can essentially create your own campaign and shoot to raise a certain amount of money and if you reach your ultimate goal then you in turn choose to do something wild! Here is one of my favorite so far below….
Living
